Thanksgiving has passed and now it's time to prepare for what the kids would call, "The Best Holiday Of The Season," Christmas. Yes, Christmas is here and the shopping list for all that's needed to make this holiday special is long and getting longer as the day arrives. It's the kids request, presents for family members, coworkers, the nanny, and you can't forget about your furry friend the dog/cat. But the two most important parts about this holiday is the love that we share with family and friends and the food that we put in our bodies in order for that love to be generated at a frequency that connects properly with our hearts and minds. The food that we eat certainly plays a major role in this process.
Studies show that in communities where people eat healthier, there is less crime and the frequencies of love flow abundantly. The love for humanity, nature, community, and the well being of all that exist. From hindsight fried chicken made with hydrogenated oils that clog the brain and blood that runs through your body, is sold on every corner and made in every house hold of the inner city with the hidden knowledge of the detriment that it has on one who has consumed it over the years and---the crime rate is to the ceiling. The hidden effect is not only crime but hyper-tension, diabetes, slow blood circulations, obesity, slow blood flow to the brain, certain types of cancers and the the list goes on and on. The sad thing about it is that in the process of consuming these harsh foods and practicing these cooking methods it's very hard to track down the very moment when the cancer and other diseases first enter the body, and the normal effect is that you are the blame. Although we are born with these free radicals that cause many debilitated diseases, it is only until we continue to feed them negatively that the diseases began to blossom into a deadly disease. The mis-education of many young parents in the inner city and their children has a major effect on why many continue to eat this way, however it is a known fact that due to the way that the children are eating in inner cities nation wide, they are not fully equipped mentally to compete on a educational level with young children who are indeed eating properly and they are being diagnosed with ADD and ADHD.
In an interview with local Chef, Chef Sham he has discovered a healthy way for one to enjoy fried chicken, one of the center pieces for the holiday's. Chef Sham says "My recommendation is certainly to eat all organic especially if we are speaking healthy." He also adds, "Instead of deep frying the organic chicken that you will get at any healthy market like Whole foods, it is best to pan fry the chicken with some olive oil, and then put it in the oven in order that you may receive the crispy results---it's much better and healthier than deep fried chicken." Chef Sham is not the only one who is in-tune with the importance of eating healthy, Pratictioners, Scientist, and Nutritionist have done thorough research on the importance of eating healthy and the neurological effects that are connected to eating healthy and not eating healthy. Chef Sham says
"When you eat healthy, you think healthy--your body is fully equipped with all of the neccessary resource to fight disease, because a disease can not live in a happy and nutritionally healthy body." This is not only information for the youth but for adults as well because when we eat right and select the proper foods that are needed for our bodies, the youth will replicate the same behaviors. So this Christmas when you make that grocery list, think healthy. Instead of a hydrogenated oil try a healthy alternative like olive oil in order to be and eat healthier for the holidays and the New Year.
