Join the University of Washington Bothell as an Assistant/Associate Professor – Rhetoric and Composition! (16071 hits)


Two full-time positions, one Associate and one Assistant, tenure-track (100% FTE, 9-month term appointment)

The School of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences (IAS) at the University of Washington Bothell (UWB) seeks Rhetoric and Composition scholars who can integrate teaching and research in first-year writing and join a growing and dynamic faculty.  We encourage applicants with expertise in one or more of these areas: Writing Across the Curriculum, Writing Program Administration, Multilingual Writing, Basic Writing or Anti-Racist/Intersectional Composition Pedagogy. Preference will be given to candidates with interest and experience in writing program development, and a commitment to the first year experience of college. Individuals who address social justice concerns, community literacies, and/or cultural rhetorics in their teaching and research practice are particularly encouraged to apply.
