Amazon Partners with HBCU CONNECT to Provide Internships in Management for HBCU Students! (9593 hits)


In an effort to connect with the best and brightest students from HBCUs interested in gaining valuable internship experience, Amazon has partnered with HBCU CONNECT to offer a large number of internships to HBCU students graduating between December 2021 and August 2022.

Amazon is looking for college students with high-potential, who are ready to own their impact in Amazon Operations as an area manager intern. As a people leader, students will have an opportunity to truly invest in others and develop a collaborative leadership style, while mastering the tools, processes, and operations that have helped create the most customer-centric company on Earth.

About the Internship

As an area manager intern, you will have the opportunity to learn how to coach and develop a team of Amazon associates in a distribution warehouse environment. Your main focus will be learning to motivate, mentor, and manage a team, as well as developing a summer project in partnership with your site leadership. As a servant leader, the area manager intern will ensure that their team of Amazon associates have all the tools needed to succeed for any task during a shift.
  • Competitive salary, relocation (if qualified), and housing assistance (if qualified)
  • An offer for full-time employment upon graduation may be given after the internship
  • Term: Ten weeks during the summer of 2021
    Amazon has agreed to interview at least 90 HBCU students that come through HBCU CONNECT.
