Job Description

 

This role works out of our Headquarters in Redwood City, CA.  Due to the Covid 19 Pandemic Guardant Health has temporarily classified this role as ‘working from home status’, scheduled to return onsite at HQ when it is determined safe to do so. 

This role will focus on quantitative marketing analytics within Guardant Health’s Corporate Core and will support US clinical forecasting and market analysis across our products including Guardant360, Guardant Reveal and our future screening tests.   This individual will also be responsible for measuring promotional sensitivity (e.g., marketing mix) and quantifying digital effectiveness.  This visible role will work cross-functionally, including with commercial leadership and FP&A across the Corporate Core, MRD Core and Screening Core.          

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

●        Deliver robust quantitative analysis of market data (both internal and external) to build demand forecasts for in market and pipeline US clinical products, including Guardant360, Guardant Reveal and future screening tests

●        Partner with commercial leadership across the organization to ensure forecasts are aligned with the goals of each franchise

●        Conduct promotional sensitivity analysis to understand the impact and effectiveness of our marketing mix, including both personal and non-personal channels

●        In partnership with Digital Marketing, complete rigorous attribution analysis and assess the impact of digital campaigns, including non-personal promotion to HCPs and DTC for screening

●        As needed, manage vendors and co-deliver insights

 

Qualifications:

 

●        5+ years’ experience in quantitative market analysis such as forecasting, marketing science, or sales analytics for biopharma/diagnostics

●        Demonstrated hands-on experience building forecast models and performing complex analysis of promotional data, such as regression modeling and marketing mix

●        Track record of cross functional collaboration and the ability to build consensus across the organization, including with senior leadership

●        Effective presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written

●        Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English is required

●        Previous management consulting experience strongly desired

●        Prior oncology diagnostic or biopharma experience is a plus

Education:

·       Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline

·       Master’s/PhD (or MBA with a quantitative focus) preferred
