Sales Leader, BioCyc / Pathway Tools|
We have an immediate opportunity for a part-time Sales Leader focusing on BioCyc/Pathway Tools. Pathway Tools is a Bioinformatics tool for enterprise Pathway/Genome Database (PGDB) management. BioCyc is a collection of 19,000 PGDBs for model eukaryotes and thousands of microbes.
Participate as a key member of SRIís BioCyc/Pathway Tools team to drive sales and help develop a growth strategy and new product roadmaps.
Build and maintain client and partner relationships and leverage those relationships to secure new business.
Manage the internal process to make sure that deals get closed. This will include SRI legal and finance teams.
Support the entire client engagement process from lead generation through project execution.
Maintain social, ethical, and organizational norms in conducting internal and external activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
Degree in Biology or related field.
Must have a solid understanding of BioCyc/Pathway Tools.
3+ years of successful quota carrying sales experience.
Proven track record of identifying and closing opportunities.
U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.
Articulate, outgoing, and motivating spokesperson for SRIís BioCyc/Pathway Tools solutions.
Demonstrated ability to work independently.
