As a Product Support Engineer, you will collaborate with Global Service delivering product support for Life Science systems by supporting field service troubleshooting, providing escalation management, supporting product life cycle management for existing products, and driving design for serviceability! This role is based at our Indianapolis, IN Selected candidate will work a few days remotely and a few days onsite Key Responsibilities: Provide troubleshooting support to field service associates during on-site visits to promote customer up-time Lead technical and Product Line escalations of product related technical system issues Develop expert level knowledge of existing systems from hardware perspective and acquire applications knowledge to aid in problem diagnosis. Develop creative and effective support strategies, guidance to service manuals and creation of procedures for new products and product updates Recommendations to development projects as a customer and service advocate Recommendations to design and test methods for verification of all service procedures Ensuring all safety, quality and regulatory requirements are in compliance with standards and agencies such as: ISO, GMP and FDA Collaborate with all partners to utilize DBS for ongoing process improvement.
Key Requirements:Four-year degree in engineering or science Minimum of 3 years experience in engineering or lab environment, biotechnology preferred Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Proven track record in and commitment to continuous process improvement The ideal candidate would be located within commuting distance to Indianapolis, IN and work a Hybrid schedule. International and domestic travel may be possible up to 25%
