This position will be responsible for assembly consumables, subassembiles, and/or analyzers within the XOS analyzer product group. The individual is expected to work closely with the production team, specifically in the assembly, modification and documentation of components and processes. The application of excellent manufacturing practices and the highest commitment to customer satisfaction are paramount to attaining this goal.
- Assembly and test of x-ray analyzers including general mechanical assembly of sub components and/or consumables to achieve this end.
- Maintains tools through daily 5S activities.
- Follows detailed work instructions, completes data entry for process travelers, and documents any relevant production test data.
- Maintains workstation cleanliness and operational effectiveness of alignment and assembly work areas.
- Participates in daily reporting through visual management and meetings to communicate and escalate issues with performance metrics SQDIP (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity) at Tier 1
- As needed, works with the New Product Introduction (NPI) team during roll out of new products to the manufacturing floor.
- Participates in the execution of process improvements and the development of assembly procedures within the assembly work areas.
