Intern The Otsuka Way - Clinical Management Internship|
Clinical Management is responsible for ensuring Otsuka's clinical programs and trials are designed and conducted with consistency and quality within established timelines by providing leadership, scientific input and industry leading oversight of service providers. Clinical Management drives clinical trial protocol development, collaborates on new technologies to support clinical trials, performs ongoing data review or trends and mitigation, and provides strategic oversight to CRO partners.
Otsuka's Internship Program, Intern the Otsuka Way (InTOW) offers meaningful hands on project experiences that impact patient's lives while providing students an opportunity to grow both personally and professionally. The internship program takes a holistic approach to education, in that students acquire both practical, applicable skills, but also gain additional experience in business and innovation as it relates to the pharmaceutical industry and the student's area of study. Students will have the opportunity to learn to navigate the complex matrix and team environment at a global pharmaceutical company, gain the fundamental skills and knowledge in the industry and will also engage in valuable, practical job experience through the internship experience.

What Your Background Should Look Like:
Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate level program (Master's or PhD) at an accredited university
Completed at least two years of school if attending a four-year university OR completed at least one year of school at a two-year university
Experience using Microsoft Office, such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Demonstrates behaviors aligned with the Otsuka Corporate Brand including Perseverance, Unconventional Thinking, and Humility
Demonstrate ability to work in a team environment
Demonstrate ability to think creatively to solve complex problems
Exhibits eagerness to learn and ability to learn quickly
Ability to make effective decisions independently and to work in a fast-paced matrix environment with minimal supervision
Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal, written, and public engagements in speaking with key opinion leaders, training sales, and educating customers regarding reimbursement strategy and updates
Ability to organize and manage multiple projects in executing on key deliverables within required timeframes.
