Production Planner

Responsibilities: Lead the generation and maintenance of a documented manufacturing schedule for staff Actively participate in departmental meetings to ensure project priorities are clearly communicated and resources are properly scheduled Coordinate and schedule manufacturing events appropriated based on planned and unplanned facility and equipment maintenance tasks with Facilities Escalate any timeline concerns to cross functional department management Plan and schedule all processing rooms, equipment, and personnel resources for site Assist with various data tracking and reporting metrics Ensure compliance with the final product dispensing is complete ensuring projects meet the requirements of Facilities Assist with the planning and coordination of major and minor site initiatives Assist with resource planning, purchasing, and tracking of raw materials to ensure on time delivery for project execution Assist with review of raw material and consumable warehouse stocks and reorder points Attend client calls or meetings as requested by management Track and report production or qualify control delays that cause project delays Ensure personnel resources have been approved by management as trained, prior to scheduling for operational tasks Perform other duties as assigned All employees are responsible for the general upkeep of work and shared spaces Punctual and regular attendance is required of all employees
Qualifications: At least 2 years of experience in a related position required, 4 or more years preferred Bachelor of Science in Biology, Chemistry or Molecular Biology preferred Strong knowledge of computers, Microsoft Office, and Smartsheet, (Visual Planning or Dynamics 365 a plus)
Working Conditions: This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
