How will you make an impact? Working with the Protein and Cell Analysis (PCA) business teams to develop and implement strategies with our marketing organization that keeps our customer success at the center while delivering profitable growth. The successful candidate will work across divisions, regions and provide ongoing leadership to a successful team of marketers. What will you do? Build markets & brands: Opportunity to develop strategic plans that drive growth across novel and everyday product lines with both capital equipment and consumables portfolios. Including the business marketing strategy and cross business & division marketing initiatives, optimally commercialize new products, and achieve revenue and profitability goals. Nature and Scope: This position interacts with varying levels of internal and external personnel requiring the ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing regarding product technologies and sales strategy, and to influence audiences in support of that strategy. Efficiency in this role requires knowledge of the PCA market and the scientific trends affecting life science research in general. The incumbent must possess self-motivation, passion, and a positive demeanor toward the job, the Company and their work team. The role will require up to 30% global travel as conditions allow. The chosen candidate will join a fun, upbeat team and will have the opportunity to advance their skills by working cross-company on many high-profile projects. How will you get here? Bachelors, Masters or Ph.D. degree in life science, engineering or marketing, and a minimum of 10 years relevant marketing experience. Consistent track record of building markets and significantly growing brand recognition in specific categories, includes agency management, strategy creation, budget management, execution, segmentation, measuring impact and adjusting for success. Proven track record to drive digital demand at scale applying web, content, display, social, and other channels; including capturing data insights, coordinating for success, establishing critical metrics that drive the business objectives. Experience leading teams of 20-50 colleagues as well as extended teams that are matrixed. Ability to scale influence across the organization at all levels through direct leadership and functional partnerships, including previous experience in a highly matrixed, global organization preferred. Experienced at enabling teams to set up processes that speed up decision making and implementation of initiatives and programs Cross-geography, including global and/or international experience useful. Highly organized and ability to accomplish individual and team goals through effective project management skills. Ability to effectively set priorities, balance multiple projects and meet commitments.
