Sr. Field Application Scientist, Biopharma LCMS - US Remote
Location: US-Remote -Must be available to travel 75% of the time.

As a member of the Thermo Fisher Scientific North America Center of Excellence, you're be part of a diverse team of sales representatives, marketing and product development scientists, and service professionals all with the goal of driving customer success! Your primary responsibility will be to provide application support to Biopharma customers striving to characterize important biotherapeutics using our innovative LCMS instrumentation. These applications include, native and intact analysis of proteins and oligonucleotides, peptide and oligonucleotide mapping, and HCP analysis. Responsibilities: - Provide post-sales training and application assistance in response to customer inquiries (both internal and external), including education, training and on-site visits.
- Provide pre-sales technical support to guide the LCMS sales representative and customer to the best solution for the customer’s short- and long-term needs
- Connect with customers as a technical expert
- Apply knowledge to develop innovative solutions to resolve complex problems and facilitate communication within the team and across the CoE when required
- Prioritize projects independently and manage behavior to most effectively accomplish core job functions
- Perform other relevant duties as required
Minimum Qualifications: - 5+ years of hands-on protein/peptide Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry experience
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject area with 8+ years of meaningful experience, MS degree with 5+ years of meaningful experience, a Ph.D. with 2+ years of meaningful experience; or years of equivalent work experience with a high school diploma required.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills (English)
- Consistent track record working independently and a strong work ethic is critical
- Desire to join a remote team
- Able to travel 75% within North America

Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Biopharma LCMS applications (peptide mapping/peptide quantitation/intact analysis)
- Experience with Orbitrap Tribrid Mass Spectrometers
