Do you want to work in Field Technical Service? Do you enjoy providing frontline support by resolving customers problems and issues through technical expertise and troubleshooting?

We are currently seeking a Field Service Engineer who will be responsible for troubleshooting, installation, validation, maintenance, and service repair needs on designated product lines.

What well get you doing:

• Identify business opportunities (PMs, new Service Plan leads, new system leads) that help us continue to deliver double-digit growth.
• Focus on customer needs and satisfaction, while building and fostering positive and professional relationships with both external and internal customers.
• Promote a consistently positive image of the service organization, our values, and the value of our products and services.
• Keep up to date on administrative responsibilities daily such as completing work orders, returning parts, following up with customers, etc.
• Align with vendor credentialing requirements including, but not limited to, drug testing.

The essential requirements of the role include:

• Associates Degree in Engineering, Biology, or related field with 3+ years experience.
• Traveling 50-75% in the defined territory.
• Maintaining a valid drivers license that meets Molecular Devices safe driver standards.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Field service engineer positions in a related industry.
• Scientific research instruments, scientific background, or similar technical exposure.
• Microsoft Office suite of applications.
