We are seeking an Investment Banking Vice President to act as a key team member in our Real Estate Investment Banking group. Key tasks and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Serve as a key resource working closely with senior bankers to proactively generate ideas and solutions to meet client needs
• Key support resource to senior bankers in day-to-day client coverage efforts with the intention of working toward primary client coverage responsibility over time
• Play a key role supporting origination, opportunity evaluation and deal execution, working on a broad scope of advisory (M&A and private capital raise transactions), public equity (IPO and follow on transactions) and debt capital raising transactions
• Function as the key point of contact for the group, responsible for coordinating information flow and execution of work product with product groups, other lines of business, as well as internal and external legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory parties
• Lead due diligence sessions
• Supervise the preparation and execution of final client presentation work product
• Communicate and interact with deal team members and clients
• Be a team player and culture carrier
• Supervise and train junior personnel and function as the groups staffer
• Team members work closely with senior and junior bankers and are expected to make an immediate contribution

Minimum Requirements:

• BA/BS degree
• Full breadth of Investment Banking experience including strategic advisory and financing (equity, equity linked and debt) transactions
• Professional maturity and experience to interact directly with client and drive origination and execution
• Advanced skills in financial analytical, sales, presentation, client relationship management, organizing, leadership and interpersonal relationship management
• Strong written and oral communications skills
• Experience and interest in mentoring and coaching junior team members
• Interest in corporate finance and public capital markets
• Multiple years of investment banking Associate experience
• 8 years of related work experience

Preferred Requirements:

• MBA degree, with a Finance focus
• 10 years of related work experience
• Interest in working with public REITs and private real estate companies
