We are putting innovation to work to improve people’s lives and we want YOU to be a part of it.</p><p></p><p>Ketjen Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Albemarle Corporation, is seeking an I/E Technician to join our maintenance team. <span> Responsibilities</span> will include troubleshooting and repairing <span>Instrument/Electrical</span> Equipment</p><p></p><p><b>Essential experience</b></p><ul><li>Use of test equipment (DVM, megger, loop calibrator, temp calibrator, amp meter and HART communicator)</li><li>Read <span>electrical/instrument</span> schematics/loop diagrams</li><li>Read P&amp;ID drawings</li><li>Temperature measurement (RTD&#39;s thermocouples),</li><li>Pressure measurement (all types).</li><li>Flow measurement (Magnetic flow, Coriolis, DP).</li><li>Level measurement (DP, ultrasonic, radar &amp; Nuclear).</li><li>Conductivity measurement</li><li>Density measurement (Coriolis and Nuclear)</li><li>PH measurement, control, and theory</li><li>Automatic control valves – rebuilding of valves. (Fisher, Masoneilan)</li><li>Valves positioners – electronic &amp; pneumatic. (Fisher, Masoneilan, PMV)</li><li>Experience with gas fired BMS systems (Honeywell, fireye &amp; others)</li><li>480V and greater MCCs and switchgear</li><li>VFD&#39;s- Troubleshooting, wiring, and programing (ABB, AB &amp; Yaskawa)</li></ul><p></p><p><b>The candidate will meet the following qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Strong knowledge of National Electrical Codes, IEEE &amp; ISA Standards, and Electrical Safety in the workplace (NFPA 70E)</li><li>Must be self-motivated and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Ability to interface effectively with wide range of technical, analytical, and managerial personnel.</li><li>Ability to lead execution of work and resolve technical and operational issues in a cross-functional team environment.</li><li>Experience using MS Excel, Word</li><li>Working knowledge of PLC and DCS systems</li><li>Experience with SAP preferred.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Experience/Education </b></p><ul><li>HS Diploma or GED</li><li>3-5 years’ minimum experience as a E/I technician in an industrial environment</li></ul></div></div></div></div><p></p><p><b><span>Benefits of Joining Albemarle</span></b></p><ul><li><p><span>Competitive compensation</span></p></li><li><p><span>Comprehensive benefits package</span></p></li><li><p><span>A diverse array of resources to support you professionally and personally.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p>We are partners to one another in pioneering new ways to be better for ourselves, our teams, and our communities.
