Lineboat Upper Pilot
Lineboat Pilot – St. Louis, MO
This is a full-time, exempt-level position.
Job Responsibilities:- Navigates vessel and ensures safe operation of vessel as to not cause injury or damages.
- Responsible for safety of all crew and conduct safety meetings.
- Familiarity with Sub Chapter M regulations and vessel/crew requirements.
- Complete electronic and paper forms and logs such as: navigation logs, maintenance logs, TMS wheelhouse forms.
- Responds to any situation that would require emergency rescue or transit of persons.
- Coordinate crew changes, fueling procedures, and grocery delivery.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
Job Requirements: - Must have a thorough knowledge of boat operations. Minimum of six months experience as a licensed pilot on Upper Mississippi River, Lower Mississippi, Ohio River, and/or Illinois River.
- Mate (Pilot) or Master’s license of Towing vessels upon Western Rivers
- Radar certificate and FCC License
