i've worked in different school systems and i've seen a lot. my two biggest concerns are what are kids being taught at home about respecting adults, and why do kids have to learn at such a fast pace just to pass a state test.
we need to teach more at home about the importance of listening to adults in general and we need to slow down the pace of learning. if a child can keep up with the fast pace, then so be it. but if not, then we must backtrack especially in math and reading.
