Tupac Shooter Confesses to 1994 Shooting (4575 hits)

According to a recent story published in AllHipHopNews the shooter of Tupac Shakur in the 1994 attempted murder/robbery has confessed. Dexter Isaac, a longtime friend of James "Jimmy Henchman" Rosemond, allegedly was paid $2,500 to kill Tupac in 1994. Isaac, who is currently cooperating with police in a drug trafficking case against Rosemond said that he wanted to give the family of Tupac Shakur some closure and said that he wants to "apologize to his family [Tupac Shakur] and for the mistake I did for that sucker [Jimmy Henchman]." Isaac is a longtime suspect in the shooting of Shakur but formal charges were never brought against him.

The actual statement of Isaac's confession can be found at AllHipHop.com. The veracity of the story cannot be confirmed but feel free to read the article and draw your own conclusion.

I'm glad that we finally have the murderer, but to think that he only confessed because he has "beef" with the guy who paid him to do it. Whatever!

I do think the confession was just because of the current beef and not because of guilt or trying to bring closure to Tupac's family. If he wanted closure he would have confessed years ago, especially since he is already in jail.

As the facts come out I have to amend this story. Dexter Isaac confessed to the shooting of Tupac 2 years before his death in the shooting incident in Manhattan outside of the recording studio. I apologize for any errors in this post and will make sure the story is SOLID before I post anything else about it.
